Our Privacy Commitment

PrivateBooks is built on a simple principle: your financial data is yours alone. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to access your information.

Information We Collect

We Collect NOTHING

PrivateBooks operates entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data. Period.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data exists only on your device:

Transactions and categories
Account balances
Budgets and goals
Receipt photos
Reports and analytics

Purchase Information

If you purchase Pro features, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase status.

No Network Connections

PrivateBooks does not:

Connect to the internet for core functionality
Sync to any cloud service
Send analytics or crash reports
Display advertisements
Connect to your bank accounts

Data Export

You can export your data as CSV or JSON files. These exports are saved to your device and are under your complete control.
